In any company, it is easy to get used to the routine - I have seen that in myself, and in every team I have led. When I created Get Shit Done a decade ago (!) it was my rally cry to remind me that I have a job to do. This is now more of a historical site :|
We all have a purpose(s) - ones we are paid to support or ones we believe in - both, if you are lucky! Since this site started, I have had many new experiences and joys: new companies, new friends and loss of old ones, kids flying the nest, and much more.
...but same as before....go GSD!
As an exec leader and product innovator, I’ve driven growth and transformation across FinServ, Telecom, Media, and Tech—leveraging AI, data, and cloud platforms. By fostering high-velocity teams, I deliver customer adoption, efficiency, and large-scale cultural change.
When I spend my days deep in mental work, I crave the tactile.
So, whether it’s rebuilding an old car, helping my kids tackle big projects, failing (again) at learning instruments, DJing, supporting my wife’s home builds (she’s a GC), racing on the track - or off it - or even mixing cocktails (hello, Chartreuse, I’ve missed you), I love breaking away from the constant meetings, context switches, and rapid-fire risk calculations. It keeps me human.
